Depending on how much boost you end up giving it you may need to back off compression ratio down.

INTAKE MANIFOLD 390/427/428 ALUMINUM SUPERCHARGED Blue Thunder Aluminum Intake Manifold for 390/427/428 with 6.71 or 8.71 Supercharger.

Cast from aluminum in an aircraft foundry and machined to the highest tolerances, this exceptional intake meets an extremely high level of quality.

An engine is merely an air pump. The more air you can pump through it, the more power you can get out of it. This manifold is designed to allow the installation of a Rootes-type 6.71 or 8.71 supercharger, which is one of the ultimate ways to cram air into your engine.

I'd go with twin turbos from Turbonetics.

I'm sure it will.

I guess it's a matter of taste and technology.. I'd rather be stealthy so I'd rather have two large snails under the hood than a giant lung sticking out of it.

Hmmm may do like what Rick Dobbertin did with his J-2000. If ya don't know who he is then Google his name and you will see what over-the-top trend he is generally credited for launching.

Been there, built that:

Now, I kinda eyed up my '69 to see if it would fit. Ya, sorta. The biggest issue is the back of the blower would be under the cowl and not sure how well the carbs would fit without running into something.

I run the Blue Thunder intake(with 3" spacer to clear stock distributor), BDS drive and a stock NOS 6/71 blower. Depending on your blower, if it is all stock then it needs machine work to get the "car" drive to bolt on. I did all my own work(since I work at machine shop).

Eye up the back your motor and see where it is compared to your firewall and cowl. The blower sits right back in front of the edge of the back of the intake. Makes for very little room.
