Nerf Bar Insert
OK, odd question and I'm not sure where to post it but here goes:
I have an F-250 with chrome nerf bars. The nerf bars have the "Ford" plastic inserts in them, but one of them is now missing. Anyone have any idea where I might buy just the plastic insert? I'd rather not spend another $150 for a new nerf bar just to get the insert. Thanks in advance!

Can I assume you've already tried Ford, and that they couldn't get them?
The tubes are made by Westin, they might be able to help. Er, I think they are anyways.

Checked with Ford, Westin (previous mfg.), and DeeZee (current mfg.) and none of them have the insert. I think my bars were originally made by Westin and since they no longer make them for Ford, they no longer have the inserts. Two of the local Ford stores both told me I'd have to order a new "kit" that includes two new nerf bars...all for a mere $350. So...anyone know where one might find such an odd item?
