I was hoping that one of you folks could help me find where to purchase replacement plastic step pads for my Reese nerf bars. I have an 06 F-250 with 3" nerf bars and one plastic step is cracked. I've been to the Reese web site and searched the web but cant seem to find just the pads. I will take new or used so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
You're not the first to ask this. The answer is always the same:
"Call the manufacture. If you're lucky they will send you some. Usually you have to buy new bars."
However, I did get a replacement pad once when mine came cracked when I bought them.
I believe some brands have lifetime warranties on their step pads so you shouldn't have to buy a new set of bars. But I suppose it just depends on the brand. ICI has the warranty and all you have to do it go on their website and request a new set for free, all you have to pay is for shipping which was about $8 when I ordered a replacement set for my wife's truck.
