Does anyone know where I can purchase a 2" front receiver hitch for a 1996 F250 4x4, auto, 460? I called Valley, Hidden Hitch and no one seems to have one.
I don't think that I have ever heard of a "front" receiver hitch. Can you tell me what it does? I would think that you maybe can rig up a regular hitch to do your chores...
I use to have one on my 94 F150. Had to have it fabricated at the local RV shop. Don't know where you are located, if you where in my area I could recommend something. Mine attached to the frame in the front and I had to cut notches in the plastic below the bumper or leave it off.
Kept it when I sold my 94, but doesn't fit the 99 SD, oh well. Get out the welder.
A lot of places that handle boats also will build one. It works great to park trailers, etc. or hold heavier loads up front.
