down pipes
I put on a 4 inch exaust system. I was wondering when people are talking about the down pipe is that the pipe that runs out of the turbo and then down to the exaust. If not then where is the down pipe located

You're right. The downpipe runs down from the turbo to the exhaust system under the truck. Did you replace your downpipe when you put on the 4" exhaust? If not, there's a huge gain to be made when you do.
