Greetings! Just yesterday I ecame the proud owner of a 2000 Ranger XLT Supercab! This is my irst truck ever! I am so excited, and I am looking foward to modifying it to make it my own. Does anyone know where I can get information on aftermarket specs? For instance, I would like to up the size of the rims, but have no ideas where to start, and don't want to do anything destructive! I am a truck virign! Can anyone help me out? Thanks a zillion!
Congrats on the new ride. I would recommend checking out stylinconcepts.com and ordering a free catalog, and also buy an issue of TRUCKIN magazine and check out their advertisers. Good luck and ENJOY.

Some parts you can buy, but there is nothing like showing off your modifications and when they ask, "Who did it", you can say "I did!" and feel very proud. Fabricating your own parts isn't that difficult and it is very rewarding.
If you have the auto trans, you must be careful about changing the overall diameter of your wheel/tire assembly or else the shift points get all messed up. There are a couple of electronic devices that modify the speedometer signal from the rearend, so you can make major changes. I increased my overall diameter by one inch, but with the help of my Ford Parts guy, we determined that this would correct the built-in speedo error and still fall within an acceptable range of accuracy for the computer to control the shift points.
Hey same truck as mine. This is my first truck too keep us updated as to mods. I could use a few ideas. I did the Magnaflow Dual rear outlet exhaust 2.5" and I just ordered the K&N FIPK for it. so trying to beef up mine some.
