The PFE sensor on my 94 ranger 2.3 l makes a buzzing noise at certain rpms as it revs up and it almost seems that it chokes the motor a little. the truck idles rough also. could this be the problem for the rough idling? Is the pfe supposed to buzz? help
A stuttering idle and a choking motor when revving like you describe can also be caused by a fuel system problem, such as a clogged fuel filter or a failing fuel pump.
