V-10 Longevity
Does anyone have any idea about the longevity of the V-10? I am not very well educated on this particular engine, but am considering a 4x4 Excursion ( V-10) with a few miles on it ( 90K), and am looking for feedback....anything in particular I need to watch for?

Try this question in hte V10 forum too. Many users down there have well over 100K on theirs.
Common problems seem to be
1. Idle Air Control Valve
2. Some early models had sparkplug blow-out issues.
Other than those two, there aren't many glaring issues with the V10. Keep it tuned and running clean oil and it should give you well over another 90K service.
