What kind of engine/trans mounts?
I learned something here. I am nearly ready to drop my 406/C-6 combo in and this crossmember is still on my frame. It sounds like my combo won't fit with this crossmember remaining?

I planned to mount the motor and trans using tube mounts from Classic Performance Products. Will these be strong enough to replace the removed crossmember?

Quick update, I got a FE tubular engine mount at the Portland Swap meet yesterday for 40 bucks. Things are looking up!
