tips for replacing serpentine belt

Looking for tips in replacing serpentine belt on my son's '97 Ranger XLT supercab (3.0L V6 engine). Bought the truck a couple weeks ago. Haven't ever worked on Fords before. Is it as simple as loosening the tensioner pulley? Thanks in advance.

You will need a LONG handled ratchet,the adjuster is spring loaded so there is nothing to loosen, on the 3.0 rotate the adjuster clockwise to slack the belt then remove.
