any idea where to find the pop-out window rubber?
i'm also looking to replace my fixed windows with some pop-outs i picked up. i know Green's has the hinges and latching mechanism i need ($15 and $55 bucks resp. - ouch!) but i can't find the molding anywhere...
If I could, I would stay away from the pop out windows, the side ones and back ones on my 91 leak all the time. Plus, they have a tendancy to pop open. However, if my A/C didn't work I would probably like the pop out windows....

my 99 clubwagon has popouts behind the driver and on the sliding door. the first thing i told the whole family is that "These windows are not to be opened at all. period. end of discussion"
that is what we have AC for. my slider popout was opened by my older brother because he just can't sit still. i nearly came unglued. thankfully, none of my popouts leak.

YAKK,
I'd like to contact you about getting rear window seals but this forum won't let me email to you since I'm too new of a user. Please contact me or reply to this message. ed22xz at fortmiller.us
I just wanted to add what a racket those pop outs make when you're traveling. Slightest bump sets them rattling. I have a conversion van, and the large black plexiglass windows have a slider on the bottom that is quiet, and never leaks in. It only takes a few seconds to close them, if rain is coming.
If I used it as a cargo van, then I could see the desire for these pop outs. Especially if the van wasn't air conditioned.
I have a service that delivers med supplies from time to time, and the driver just takes out the back windows in the summer. He claims it's like a wind tunnell in there. [Rain permitting]
My last van was a cargo with no air, and I just locked open the sliding side door in the heat. Made a big differance. The newer design has windows held in by a screw. Just pop off the cap and screw, or unscrew.
