My 94 explorers temp gauge and amp gauge are not working properly. My amp gauge is usually always pegged to the left and doesn't show any readings, but once in a full moon will actually work, but only for a little while.

My temp gauge is acting like a tach, going back and forth when I accelerate or let of the gas.

Does anyone have an idea, what the problem might be??
