Another instrument light problem, with a twist.

I have my normal instrument panel and a small gauge cluster (amp/oil/temp.) under the dash. When I pull the switch, the gauge cluster lights come on but not the instrument panel lights. By turning the dimmer switch, the gauge cluster lights will dim or brighten; but nothing happens at the instrument panel or interior lights, by turning switch past the (click). All exterior lights works as well.

Where do you have the gauge panel plugged into?? Seems if it was anything WITH the instrument panel it would not work either??

If you hooked it direct to the switch, then I would say you have a broken wire somewhere?? If it was the fuse, then switch would not be getting anything at all.
