Ticking ??

When I am at the bank, at a restraunt, or in my garage, I can hear a ticking coming from my Motor ( i think) is this normal or is there somnething wrong. It is a 5.0L V8.

Sounds like an exhaust manifold leak. You can retorque the bolts to see if that helps, if not you may need to replace the gaskets.

How loud is your ticking noise? Could it be the belts and pulleys? Just a guess. Mine also makes small ticking noises also, im hoping that it is simple and nothing to serious!

It isin't that loud but it is kinda weird it is like it goes in & out (tick tick TICK TICK TICK tick......tick tick...) I will look at the exaust thanks
