Ramsy Wenches

Has anyone had a bad exprence with Ramsy? 9500 Platnum in particular. I used it 3 times and the motor burned up. Should I fix it and pettel it? or keep it?

I've got a Ramsey winch and burned up one motor already! If I had the cash I would get a different brand but it has done well since I have had it! If you have the cash get a Warn electric or MileMarker hyrdo!

the platnum ramsey's aint too bad, they r pretty much up to par with other electric winches.
...the ramsey fishy has is the cheaper rep8000.
i still am partial to warn

I would just throw out that ramsey and get yourself a warn winch everyone that ive known has had bad experiences with ramsey winches.

it's actually a reconditioned rew8000 which uses the exact same motor as the platinum series! I have burned up one motor but I was sent 2 immediately no questions asked! and it pulls my POS like there is no tom! Although I would rather have a MileMarker or Warn, but beggers can't be choosers!
