different front spring stiffness rates?
I am about to order a 2wd 250, and I would like to order the camper pkg. to get the rear sway bar. But the pkg. includes heavy duty front springs. Are they as stiff as the plow pkg. springs? I don't want the front to be so stiff that it jumps around on potholes.

The 2wd trucks have coil springs on the front while the 4wd trucks have leaf springs. The highest rated front springs you can get with 2wd is 4700 lbs. while the highest rated front springs you can get with 4wd is 6000 lbs with those being on a reg. cab with the snow play package. I haven't heard anything about 2wd trucks but, I know with the 4wd trucks most people seem to like the ride of the heavy duty springs better than the stock springs. There has also been numerous complaints about front end sag on the 4wd trucks but, I haven't heard anything about 2wd trucks. Since these trucks are known to be pretty heavy, I'd get the heaviest springs I could.
