Window crank.......

Hey all! On the driver side door the screw has broken off where the handel from the window crank is supposed to go in. So I have no way of attaching the handel back on. Whats an easy fix for this with out replacing the whole unit. Please help. Thanks....

Let me make it more clear. The screw broke off and is stuck in there, it has no head on it...

Get a screw out set. It looks like a drill bits but they are reverse drill. Typical drill bits when turned clockwise they dig deeper and when turned counter-clockwise they pull out.

This screw out set is the opposite. When turned counter-clockwise they dig deeper (that's the secret of removing broken bolts because they dig deeper as you turn counter-clockwise to loosen the stuck bolt). When turned clockwise then the drill bit just pull out.

Autozone or Advance Autoparts have them.

easy out,
You will have to drill a small hole in the screw first, then use the easy out to remove, chances are with age you might just have to drill it and retap it.
