Hi
I am new to this sight. I need help. I have a 1966 F-100, 352 three on the tree, dealer air, long bed. Seems to be original. It's my daily drive. I've had a rotator cuff tear and also had to have two discs removed in my neck, they also affect the arm and shoulder area. They did the surgeries and say it's as good as its going to get. If anyone know how to convert to power steering it sure would improve the quality of my life.
Thanks Steve
Use the search function on the upper part of the screen. There is also a tech article in the tech articles section on the right. Very common swap/upgrade that is popular.
Sometimes difficult finding wording to get the information you are looking for. Suggest run search under 'power steering' and go back at least 3 months. Seems there were a number of post on the topic in 12/03. There is a post under 'power steeing again' by FTE member andysutt. Also, on 12/9/03, i received lot of info under 'Bendix p/s.
May want to also run search under 'steering column' and again go back 3 to 4 months.
find a mid to late 70's with power steering.. pull the draglink/ps unit/ and the what-ch-ma-call it steering box... replace on your 66.. and disk breaks are also good.. i just pulled the whole front end out of a 77 and put under mine.
