Whats its Value??
I am new to this forum. Glad I found it. I have owned all types of Fords. I currently have a 1969 Mustang and Ford F350 Diesel truck.
I have been looking for an older Ford pickup truck for about two years. I found this truck which used to be a pickup but now it is a flatbed. The bed was built as an original would have been built in 41 from what I am told. There are stake sideboards for the bed also done in 1941 fashion. It is completely restored ground up including original hubcaps.
I am not sure what it is. It look like it might be a one ton. It has the grills on the sides of the hoods with the lights sticking up thru the fenders. Runs like a champ.
I have pictures I can e-mail.
Please help me identify the truck and a guess at its value.
Thanks,
Mike

The one and 3/4 ton trucks had smaller wheels with a 5 bolt lug pattern than the larger ones. Since you said the head lights some up out of the fenders then that marks out the 1/2 tons. The larger trucks also didn't come with the express delivery bed. If I remember right the only way to tell between the 1 tons and the 3/4 tons is the number of leaves on the rear, my 1 ton has 13 normal leaves and 8 helpers, I don't remeber the numbers for the 3/4 ton though. Hope this helps.
