I have a 2001 F250. The passenger-side headlite has been broken, and needs to be replaced. It is a sealed beam.
Where can I see printed instructions on how to remove this unit? A website? Can anyone supply me with a specific title of a book that I could order from library? If anyone has a book that has instructions, please give me **EXACT** title of the book.
I cannot figure out how to remove all the plastic shrouding that is around the actual sealed beam unit.
you have to remove the lower turn signal
there are 1 or 2 screws that hold it in above the bumper
once this is removed there is a screw to remove as well as the 2 on top
as far as repair manuals there are always cd roms on ebay
Is it broken or burned out? I thought mine was burnrd out. Took it to dealer for replacement under the 3/36 warrantee (it's covered!) No problem with the light, there was a wiring connector which had not been plugged in fully.
