Are you still running Speed density? Speed density doesn't measure the direct amount of air moving into the motor. Therefore, the computer would not know you changed the airflow characteristics over stock. You can get a custom chip burned for your application if you are not going to change the setup or mod it again. Or, you could swap to mass air flow and it will work fine as it is. Chipmaster can reprogram EEC IVs so try and contact them.

What are the cam specs? The speed density system can't cope with too much variation over stock and it sounds like you'll need a custom burn. Also, check the vacuum... if you're getting less than 13lbs you'll definitely need a custom burn.

As MustangGT221 stated, MAF can cope a lot better with cam changes.

www.motorhaven.com can burn the chip for you but without cam specs you can't program for them. Put a vacuum gauge on it and see what the vacuum is.

Since you put a 351W cam in a 302 did you change your firing order to the 351 firing order? Now you have a 302 HO.

302 is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8
351 is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
