computer chip ?
ive got a 95 5.8l and E4OD tranny out of a 95 lightning (computer, harness, everything). the E4OD tranny is too big for my 65 f100. i plan on using a upgraded 4R70W tranny with standalone computer. now my problem is sense i dont have the tranny hooked up to the computer it will read codes putting the engine in a safe mode. i was told i could get around this with a chip. is this true and if so what chip is it and were do i find it.
