Manual? What is it on? any way... It could be a bad cyl. or a line problem. Of course manuals are not known for being very user freindly when it comes to force for stopping.
it could be your clutch or slave cylinder. i have a '95 f-150 and just had the clutch and slave cylinder replaced a week ago. as soon as i got it out of the shop the clutch was real soft and easy. so you may want to go a cottman transmission or ammco or something like that and they can do a transmission check usually check for free.
its on a ranger, really no year, built from several vehicles for rock crawling. brakes and cab are ranger though. worked fine for longest time, now not.
now that i think of it, a while back, a friend said a cyl from 70's f250 had bigger bore, hence move more fluid-etc. etc.. i installed one and didnt work like expected went back to ranger cyl, now feels like 250 cyl is still in it. i,m wondering if bigger cyl could have messed up proportioning valve.
