Make sure you dont have any vacuum leaks, it sounds as though you might. Check all your hoses and connections. Also, check the gasket between the throttle body and the intake manifold.

did you reset the TPS? Did the BBK TB come with a TPS sensor already on it ? or did you use your old one? DW

Yes, a whistle will probably be an air leak, this could be your problem, also as Dw2455 was inquiring...did you reset your TPS?

I believe all you have to do is unhook the battery for 10 minutes and that will erase all the prior readings.

Did you track down that whistling noise, you could still have some sort of air leak causing the majority of the problem. Was this symtom present prior the TB change? Was the only thing done to the vehicle the TB change when this problem started, that is, if it wasent there before you did this installation?

OK CRAZED. DON'T YOU HAVE A MANUAL? Sorry for the caps. With the throttle body off the intake, turn on ignition and measure the voltage with a digital volt meter, across 2 of the 3 wires, can't remember, maybe black and green. With throttle closed. I guess you don't have to take the TB off to check it, but you will to adjust it. In conjuction with that, while the truck is idling, unplug the IAC and adjust the throttle stop screw (close it) till you get a 'death idle' and motor is about to die. Plug IAC back in. Then check TPS voltage with ignition on, engine off.
