Fuel injection

What is the first year that Ford used fuel injection on the f series trucks. From what i have found out that the first year for fuel injection was 1986. I have a friend that has an early 1985 build f 150 5.0 and it is fuel injected. Thanks

302 got EFI in 85, 300 in 87, 351w and 460 in 88.
