I ran a Crower cam for a bit on a 390 with stock valve train. The cam had .546" lift. I spun it over 5500 RPM and near 6000RPM several times without any issues. But, I think it was on the edge.
If everything is in good shape, you might be OK. If there are any weak spots, that 941 cam will probably find it in the 5000+ rpm range.
I was just reading on the Erson site.. and they said with fe motors not to go over .550" lift....But Im thinking thats with stock heads and not Edelbrock RPMs??
You dont think Im asking to much out of this project do Ya?? LOL!!
