I have a 87 f-350 crew with 6.9l I want to put on a 4" exaust. Does anyone know of a kit, or where I can buy the tubing to make my own? The ony aftermarket I could find was by Banks and this is only 3 inch. It also comes with extra stuff I dont want.
NAPA can order it for you. You will have to buy all the ell's and a truck load of clamps to do it that way though.
Check ATS or bully dog web pages for the kit.
I did some searching, and came up with http://shop.airflowonline.com/. They have 4 inch tubing in lengths up to 60", and every concievable adapter to make it all fit. hope this helps.
check with your local muffler shop, they can usually order the pipe and build a great exhaust, plus they will weld all the joints so you will have a worry free exhaust.. Scotty
I got the pipe for mine through a truck repair shop. I then got elbos at napa and just welded it all together myself. However you do it make sure ya weld it and not use pipe clamps. pipeclmaps will raddle and fall off. ya can weld it yar self if ya buy a small mig welder that runs off of 110 household cuurent and uses flux core wire. Or if you have acces to a mig welder somewere. Ya really need a mig welder for exhaust work casue the pipe is so thin. Good luck
