Considering my first upgrade
Not to rain on your parade of anything.......but the first thing you should consider is a set of gauges. Without them in place......you run the risk of hurting something in your pursuit of performance. Just my opinion.
tranny temp(automatic trans), EGT and Pyrometer?
fuel pressure, oil pressure, volts, rear diff temp?
At least the Pyro.
If your towing.....then tranny temp is a must.
Boost is a nice addition to monitor performance.
I have one additional one.....the differential temp.
any write-ups or pics?
The instructions are very clear. At least in the case of the Autometer products. You shouldn't have any probems on the installation. The one thing that will hold you up for awhile is what type of pods do you want to mount them in. And that will be dependent on how many different gauges you decide to get. Just go to some of the sponsors here, they should have some examples to look at. Or you can just go to Autometer's website and check them out. The "A" pillar pod can hold any number of gauges up to three......although I have heard of a four....but haven't seen one personally. There are some that snap on to the top of the steering column. And there are some that mount either on top or under the dash. You've got some research to do. Other resources can be found by punching in "Autometer" into either Google or Yahoo. You can also search Ebay for gauges.....many vendors sell at good savings there. I hope this answers your question.
Check here for directions.....
Gauges are nice...The boost gauge tends to make you keep gasing it though....
I like to watch it climb

This kit does come with some gauges. I wonder if these are the type I need?

Also you can assemble everything that you see in the kit from different vendors, end up with a larger exhaust, for less money from what I've heard.
