'74 f100 carb problems?
I have been having some problems with my carbureator, I think. I replaced it about a year ago with a rebuilt. I never made any major adjustments to it....just the idle screw. It is a one barrel. The problem I have is when I take off from a dead stop, it sort of hesitates a bit. I can also smell gasoline when it is running. I checked the timing and it is fine. Any suggestions? Could it possibly be a float prob? I also have to continuously adjust the manual choke until it is warmed up---is that normal? Thanks,
