Hi i have a 1990 van with 302efi i just installed knew 19.lbs/hr injectors DUI screaming demon coil and DUI wires DUI ignition module Airaid throttle body spacer and adjustable BBK fuel regulator. When i tried to start the engine it turned over but wont start i.m getting fuel and spark. i.m also trying to adjust the regulator, how can i adjust it when the engine does not run and also i had to pull the distributor when changing the ignition module could my timing be way of ? and the fuel pressure to high ? i used a fuel pressure gauge on the rail and it seems to leek down when i swish the ignition on ? pulls up when cranking and then leeks down, any ideas ???
Did fuel pressure bleed off with the old injectors? If not then there is a good chance one or more of your new injectors is sticking open.
What maximum fuel pressure are you seeing? I remember when I first got an adjustable regulator it needed a lot of adjustment just to get it up to stock pressure(40psi).
Did you pay attention to put the distributor back exactly as it was removed with the rotor pointed in the same direction? If not you will have to reclock it by bringing #1 piston to TDC and then inserting the distributor with the rotor pointed at #1 post on the cap and TFI module at about the 5 O-clock position.
Okey i checked the dist timing and it seems to be in order no.1 piston on tdc and ballancer marks line up but still it wont start just cranks but my battery does not hold charge for to long could that cous my engine to not start ? our could it be that i need to adjust my BBK regulator ? or could i be something other ?
Do you have a pressure gauge to measure the fuel pressure? Install that, and see what pressure you get when you just turn the key on. It should be around 40 psi.
the meter shows about 15psi when key is turned on so could i be having a bad fuel pump ?
Not likely if the motor ran fine before. Crank down the adjustment screw on that FPR regulator until you get 40psi on the gauge with a couple primes of the pump.
Okey could the problem be that i have not set the fuel pressure right ? the van had problems before black smoke when starting and died after getting hot so i replaced the stock module on the distributator with DUI module and changed the coil with screaming demon coil and live wires bbk preformance regulator and accel 19 lbs/hr injectors and yes a airaid throttle body spacer sorry for the bad spelling hehe

Shouldn't rise the Pressure?
I'm not sure about the 2-Fuel-Pump-System, but everytime i switch the ignition on i hear a buzzing from the tank, which stoppes after a few seconds when the engine isn't cranked.
I don't know the correct english word for this procedure, but when i try to translate it from german it's like "Fill-up-Protection"
So the fuel pump continues when it gets a turning signal from the ECU.
Long story short:
Does your in-tank fuel pump work?
Humm that's what i.m not so sure about when i switch on the ignition i hear the fuel pump for a few seconds and i.m getting fuel to the rail and my plugs are getting socked in fuel and i.m also getting spark.

Fuel pressure should not drop after the fuel pump stops and your plugs should not be wet, your injectors are being held open so either there is a short in the wiring harness or the PCM is toast.
