fuse box swap

I just got one from a wrecking yard with 6 inches of wire attached as my fuel circuit fuse was jumped by the previous owner and melted it!
I think I will get some electrical wiring harness plugs (matching male and female) and group the wires (no more than 6 each) together and have a quick disconnect fuse box!
If not, it appears to be a b!tch to do, pulling all those wire ends one by one and installing them (all without breaking any lock pins in the new box)!
