Did you pull the codes again after this SES light? Did you ever clear the PCM?

Just a shot in the dark, but I think a saw a thread awhile back on performance problems that turned out to be the injector harness chaffing through and shorting out.

That is definately worth checking out, and would explain all the seemingly unrelated problems.

chaffing through and shorting out. ? pin for pin or to the head? will check, what about the ICP? if that goes and press falls will that not affect fuel/air ratio? hence not enough exhaust to spin the turbo? but the turbo sounds just fine, actully really good, am really stuck and really frustrated, have done an incredible amount of work to keep her going latley, just to have her treat me like this

thanks to everyone for there time and suggestions

Normally you would be looking for a burnt pin at the connector, but I have seen a couple of posts where people have had the harness melt down under the valvecover.

Somebody posted pictures of the burned pin not too long ago.

I tend to think it's probably not the ICP, I believe there is a minimum pressure the system defaults to for just that situation.

Frist check the batterys and altanator(sp) also a failing CPS(crank postion senor) will throw some funny codes that have no nothing to do with the CPS. But the codes you listed I see all the time and my truck runs like a rapped ape

it's getting weirder, this baby is my workhorse and last night after about 250km it quite showing all signs of problems and for the rest of the night (another 250km) it ran like a brand new truck, amazing, all power, all boost, even sounding injector clater. So when i got home I decided not to go to fords.

got home this morning and did not bother to plug it in, it was about 9 degree's(spring is in the air). got up to go back to work and went to warm it up and it did not start good really, really rough idle, PCM would not let the wastegate engage it would try by would die the engine down and bounce back and try again over and over, the injector clater was real rough like it was missing one or more cly. so i let it fight to stay alive and let it warm up and was still missing, so i brought it for a ride and as sone as the temp peak out it ran beatifull again?, no miss??, all power???WTF?

Don't even know were to begin(wiring, but if so would it not allways be grounded and always fail to fire thoses injector's, CPS mabey but from what i read it dosen't just kinda go if it goes the engine will not run at all?HPOP, if so will have to bring it to mech don't have proper press guage, could use the scanner again to read the sensor, but if the engine is running rough won't that f up the psi readings ie. up,down,up,down...)

If it will do this every time (run bad when cold) I would go to the dealer. They should be able to see alot of things when it is cold.

Hey PDVan............. trust me that CPS will cause all kind of freaky things to happen to your truck when it begins to screw up.......... and it will still run..... Knowing what I know from experience it would be one of the first things I'd change.

The little bit of play in the turbo is normal. The stalling after the cam sensor is not.

Have you pulled the wiring harness connector at the valve cover yet? this is sounding more and more like a burned harness all the time.

I'm still trying to figure out why you haven't tried the free fix and at least cleared the codes and reset the pcm.
