I took apart left side. I cleaned pads and rotor and relubed pins etc. ( these are new pins).
I took it out and it hooked right even harder. At 30 mph If I stood on the brakes it would lock up right front. I stomped on it a few more times and I felt the pressure drop a little bit ( like an ABS pulse.) Now it's ok? Stops nice and straight. I don't know if the ABS or the porportioning valve was hung up or a flap inside the brake hose?
Heat pipe oh yeah. I had a leak by the rear wheel 18 mos ago. I replaced most of it with 3/4 heater hose and 3/4 copper tube up to under the drivers door. It looks like I may have to replace that section next from under the door to the flex hoses.

I have had it checked at a shop and they said it was ok. It does shift kind of funny 2-3. I have a Banks Transcommand in it too.
I've got a 91 Club wagon w/ 302/ automatic and it shifts funny as well. It seems to downshift at odd times and upshift hard at low throttle and soft at harder throttle. I'm wondering if it's a vacuum modulator or vacuum line issue, but it's too darn cold to crawl under it now and look.
my brakes worked fine. ran 3000+ miles to fla and back.
I am now in the market for a V-10 though. My truck just don't pull like I want it to. My typical day I'd run it at 70-72 mph with OD off (about 3000 rpm) while towing my trailer. My MPG at best was 8 mpg. 3.55 rear is not a good combo IMHO. I would get 3.73 or 4.10 to have a shot at running with OD on. It would help on hills with od off too.
That e350 v-10 I used last year has spoiled me. I could run that baby with OD on (same trailer) and go 75 +.
