Duals

I have a 93 bronco w/351 EFI. I plan on putting true duals w/ headers. I have 2 dynomax mufflers and am not putting cats back on it. Is there anything bad about not running cats besides echeck. What do I have to do to get this running correctly. Any and all help is appreciated.

thanks
Abel

Personaly I would not do the duals. if you are looking for performance remove the cats if its smog legal and go with a single 3" system, or you can come off of your head pipes with 3" pipe into a single 3" inlet dual 2.5" outlet muffler that way you get the dual look. i had duals on mine when i got it and after i put the 3"in system on it i was surprised with the power gain. enjoy im sure some one else will chime in sooner or later with more thoughts.

I'd just be concerned with all the pressures being equalized and all. Run 'em out the sides before rear tire. -wb

duals

I don't have one in the cat, I do have one in the y-pipe. To take care of that you just run a cross over the same distance from the block as the original.

Single 3" is good enough. Why go to the trouble? Because Mustangs have it? Single 3" is cheaper and sounds just as nice. Mine sounds amazing. Never thought of duals. Seems like too much work and $$$ for what you can accomplish with a well thought out single system.
