The Aerosmith concert in Birmingham, Al was cancelled last night due to "mechanical difficulties". Not good to have "mechanical difficulties" when you tour sponsor is a "truck"
As they were setting up in the BJCC civic center (12,000 seat arena) the large scoreboard over the floor (used for basketball and hockey) fell to the floor when a cable broke. This is one of the large 4 sided scoreboards like you see in most arenas.

My boss and a good friend both bought 2002 Ram Quad cabs. I think the truck is sharp but could see how it could be ugly too. Too bad it's made by Dodge. Same old drive train. They really need to bump up the power.
I own a 99 F350. It gets looks. Now, I drove my brothers 2002 Mayor,black,4door,20's. It causes accidents. Other truck owners accosted me at the gas station, wave at me in traffic, follow me, its pretty sick. I hear the hemi is making a comeback too...
I thought the new Super Duty design was ugly when it first came out.(Now I wish I had designed it.)
The new "Mayor" kinda grows on ya too. I guess when you get older you reach that point where you realize the fact that they are all good.(& bad too) It's just a matter of what you want to drive.
I hear the hemi is

However wasn't it Ford that sort of pioneered the hemi concept? With the 427-SOHC? I realize this engine was ahead of it's time, and Chrysler made history by making the hemispherical design work in a full production pushrod engine. Seems like that 427 cammer was the beginning. PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong. Now I'm curious. Probably should take this question down to the performance guys here at FTE.
I believe Chrysler had hemis in production cars (the early hemi like the 392) long before the 427 SOHC motor. Of course, I don't know if they were first. Also, yes, there is a hemi returning to Chrysler's lineup, but it's not derived from the 392 or the 426, it's a modern peanutized (shrunken, tiny, etc.) engine. For that matter hemi combustion chambers are common in foreign cars and have been for some time.
