Question for all?
Is there as reason why ,Ford stopped installing a splash sheild
as part of the inner fenderwell. To explain this further.
living here in the east, where they dump tons of salt and sand on the road whenever it looks like it's going to snow. The entire sides of
engine get covered with crud!!.I fixed mine by getting some thin rubber
mud flap material and cut it to cover the the hole around the front shock
mount. The holes were aready there, just used some of those wonderful
pop in black buttons, that are already all over our new trucks anyway.
I'm watching the temp guage just to make sure it's not going to over heat now Just a ? maybe they left something of mine, but i'ved chked other 2002 4x4 their all the same.
Thanks Rich

Don't worry so much about that dirty engine. That ABS unit can't take any water at all. If your lucky after it dries out after a few days the ABS light will go out. Mine's been changed twice because of water. Trimman
Nomo your problably right again. about them leaving them off.
But anyway was at the dealer today ,in the parts area, asked Them to
get me the p/n and cost for the ones used on the excurson.which I ckd
out today. they will go right on.
I'll post the # for ya all in a day or so
