Jade Green trucks?
For door panels I first use soap and water to remove the dirt.
I then use Lacquer thinner in one direction wipes, to remove any trace of Armour-all or similar product.
After the L/T I use Vinyl Prep which makes it, dye ready.
Now, I use the *Preval application system*

This is made up of a glass jar & a screw-on aerosol applicator.
It is basically a spray bomb that you can clean & use it for multiple jobs.
I use vinyl dye from Napa.
The key is to apply the dye in thin layers with tme to dry before the next one.
Curing:
Let the newly dyed parts sit around in a warm room for weeks
(if you can).
The proper curing will allow you to handle the parts more without causing any damage to them.
For plastic <> I use soap & water, Lacquer thinner, & Plastic prep.
These pieces have to be Absolutely Free of any kind foreign material.
