302-4.6

is there anyway to swap a 95 F-150 with the 302 with a 4.6? power wise, are they about the same? if you can swap them, how hard would it be. just dreamin. thanks

I think you would be able to pull off the swap, but would you want to? If I am not mistaken, the power curve of the 4.6 is completely different and is more suited to a street vehicle. Your 4x may suffer some, I think you will lose the needed low end torque.

Just my opinion, others may say different.

maybe your right, if my 302 does poop out on me(hope it doesn't), should i go with the 5.4 modular or the old 351w, the 351 would be easier.
