Hot Wire, power source, light wire ?

light Blue/red wire? (hey Million?)

The switches for my power windows needs a light source because they are illuminated from inside the switch. I was wondering if I need to find a wire that illuminates them only when I turn on my headlights or if I use a wire that will illuminate them whenever the car is on (like the lights in the stereo)? Is this possible? I have tested the blut/red wire and it is a switched hot wire---it is hot when the ignition is turned to accessory. I think that i will use this wire to illuminate my switches however I would prefer that the switches are only lit when I have my headlights on. Can someone help me with this?

the brown wire is used for the parklights it is either on or off. the cluster wire is connected to a resistor switch so it can dim the lights. you should be able to take your pick.
