I dont think I'd own another V-10; parts are hard to find and expensive, it wont hold it's value. I only say this cause I had a V-10 dodge< different beast but same attributes >simply caused I owned one and the market isnt there for it. A V-10 is for someone who DOESN"T like the sound of diesel. I'll take 14mpg to 10mpg any day of the week. I' ve seen diesels pulling aload beat me up 6% grades and I was unloaded. Once summer rolls around the price of diesel and gas will be the same. Also it wont be as agile off roading once you put 40's on it. I wouldn't consider anything other than a PSD if I had the money. Dollar for Dollar there is NO better truck than an F350 W/PSD. I recently bought an F150 and it smoked my v-10. Although it only gets 12.5mpg because I put 265/75-16tires on it. When it had the stock tires it was getting 15-16mpg. I would like a F-250 w/psd, 4X4, and crewcab.

-What parts are you talking about?
-Only the D*dge Viper holds it's value. All other D*dges drop like a rock. 'cept maybe the Cummins equipped trucks.
-The Ford V10 is worlds apart from the D*dge V10.
-As far as market, the V10 equipped Excursions have a good market. As well as more than a few F250/350 platforms.
>A V-10 is for someone who DOESN"T like the

-Well, no. The V10 is for someone who prefers a V10. I LOVE the sound of a PSD. The engine just doesn't suit my needs right now...
>I've seen diesels pulling a load beat me up 6% grades
>and I was unloaded.
-You were obviously in your D*dge V10? I'll bet those trucks were modified. (Not to defend the D*dge, at all...)
>Dollar for Dollar there is NO better truck than an F350 W/PSD.
-I can see why you'd say this but it is a highly controversial statement. So, I'll let it be.
> I recently bought an F150 and it smoked my v-10.
Once again, I ASSume that you're refering to your D*dge V10?
