I have a 1993 F-350 7.3 Auto w/od. The the speedo works fine but the digital odometer does not light up, what can be done to fix this? Also the digital display in the radio and clock does not light up. I checked all the fuses and they are good. Any suggestions?

There are tiny little light bulbs that provide the back light for them. I can not tell you how and where to change them though. I do know that NAPA has the bulbs. The guy in front of me last week was getting some for his.
Don't know about the odometer but the radio has a bulb behind the liquid-crystal display. You have to pull the radio and then pop out the access to the bulb. I had to do the same replacement on the 1990 ranger I had a few years ago but with age the details of the task get a little foggy so you will need to check the manual. I would guess the odometer is probably pretty close to the same process.
I have a 93 and my odometer didnt work when I got my truck. I found that the button you push on the right of the speedometer to toggel between odometer and trip odometer didn't work. I took the speedometer cluster out and found there is a plastic ell shaped part that couples the push button to the set switch on the circuit board was broken, so I carefully drilled out the small ell part and glued a steel piece of coat hanger into it and drilled the push button the same and recoupled it to the ell. works fine now. I figured I would never be able to find the part to buy a new one.
