yes its possible check out www.jegs.com or www.summit.com for different brands for your 352, im not sure the exact piston you should use but im sure someone will stop in and lead you in the right direction.
it would all depend on the type of piston you get, if your going to do the pistons you might as well do the heads intake and cam while your at it, most people dont start off with pistons first, usually they start with a better intake/carb, high lift cam, and ported heads or edel heads then they go to the pistons if they need added hp. let us know what specs your 352 has.
im not planning on doing the upgrade now im gonna do everything intake, carb, cam, exhaust and maybe pistons when i pull it out and rebuild it. anyway, the most cost effective piston would be my chioce.
The 2 common reasons to swap out good pistons is:
You want to raise the compression ratio.
You plan on running boost or N2O.
Otherwise you will not see any performance gains from "high performance" pistons.
The " high performance " pistons should raise your compression ratio. You r current compression is around 8.2 - 8.7. Anything more than about 9.8 total compression will start to detenate (very bad). That being said you will see improvement in changin just pistons, but with new pistons means at minimum a cylinder honing. That requires tear down of and engine. See where I am going yet.
The other thing is more compression will give more power typically. But, if you put in better intake cam better carb it will be like night and day.
To sum up. if you are going to put in new pistons go all out and put in new everything. You will end up with a much better end result.
