a 670 is plenty for a 352, i wouldnt go any higher for a stock 352, that holley truck avenger 670 would be a great carb for your 352.

Agreed, that 670 truck avenger would be perfect.

I understand the Truck Avenger is designed for off-road trucks that see steep grades, hig altitude etc. A 600 is plenty and I see no need for the truck Avenger (read, save $$) unless you plan on doing some off-roading.

I think you'd have to get radical on a 352 to need more than 600 CFM.

If you're not approaching or passing the 6000RPM range, 600 is probably plenty. I'll see if I can find the formula for CFM needed.

Maybe one of the Gurus here knows it.

Formula is as follows:cfm needed=cid/2Xmax rpm/1728, this assumes 100% volumetric efficiency. You should multiply by 75% for non modified engines;85% for high performance engines; 95% for a fully modified race engine. BE HONEST- most people use too big of a carb!!!
