Talking Visual Upgrades

Now that I've done most of the thing I wanted to do with my Bronco's engine, I'd like to go for looks. I've decided to go for 18" wheels (either American Racing Jammers or Akuza Ichors). But besides that, what else could I do. My Bronco is an 88XLT, and there are no ram-air hoods for it, that I could find, so maybe a fiberglass one for less weight. Maybe a new tire cover for the spare tire. Little thing do make a difference, so if anyone has any idea on what to change interior/exterior to make it look a little more custom, and where to get it, I'd thank u very much. Bronco 'till I die....

You could put a 92-96 front clip on it, they have more aftermarket hoods. I think they are one of the best looking frontends on a truck.

A 92-96 clip is a start, i'd like to see how Escape or Explorer sport seats would look/ do in a bronco. Then, there's always the endless topless set ups; roll bars, covers, Bronco to truck bed conversations. Haven't seen a truck bed conversation on a newer Bronco, only on a 79 in a Truckin' magazine once. It'd be cool, cause you could go baja with the giant tire in the back and lights and such. You really can't go wrong w/ what you decide todo. 'Member it's your truck do what you want. Enjoy. -wb

There's plenty of aftermarket stuff out to give you some more "bling-bling" with the wheels. That will be the hardest thing, to find oversize models that fit the front 4wd hubs. Chrome grilles, clear lenses and tails, etc. are available if you do a search. I think the best thing about the Broncos is the removable top. I've had mine off for over a year, and installed a Skyler fastback top. There's also the canopy-style tops if you want one of those. As for hoods, someone posted "usbody", and there's a couple styles available. Good Luck, and post some pics in your gallery!!!

That's not a bad-lookin' hood there!

And yes, the body flexxes a tad bit, but the top will still fit. I had all of the cab-bed seams re-welded when I had the Bronco re-painted. I also installed poly body bushings, which limit alot of the body movement on the frame.
