[updated:LAST EDITED ON 10-Feb-02 AT 10:59 PM (EST)]My F350 Crew Cab with Camper Package, Towing Package and Off Road Package has front leaf springs with two leafs. When parked on level ground, with the truck empty of cargo and passengers, they are pressed flat at all times. I imagine when driving over bumps they must go the other way. Is that normal? To the untrained eye, it almost looks like there should be another leaf or two in there?
Yeah I had the same thoughts! I have a 8' Western snowplow (don't know WHY - it aint never gonna snow again!!) and I figured when I lifted it the springs would really move in the bad direction, but to my surpise, they do not move much. Front end holds the plow up very nicely. Has the snow plow prep option. Go figure..
