4.6 5.4 differences

4.6 5.4 differences
What are the differences between a 4.6 litre and a 5.4 litre ford modular motor? Is the bore the same and the stroke larger, or are the bores different? Could i just replace the 4.6 crank with a 5.4 crank and then have a 5.4 litre in my 98 F-150 pickup?

The 5.4L has a longer stroke than a 4.6L. Both have the same bore. The 5.4L block is taller than the 4.6 block so I don't think that longer stroke will fit in the 4.6l. The taller block is also wider so 4.6L intakes will not fit the 5.4L just as the 5.4 intake will not fit the 4.6.
