Timing Chains, years and timing marks
Ok, there has been many posts on this so I want to set this straight (if it hasn't been done before)
Pre 72's use a straight up timing mark, they are a single standard chain.
73-87's use a 4 degree retarded timing mark, older chains were a standard chain newer ones might have used a factorty double roller
88-97's use a straight up timing mark, they also utilize a double roller setup...... (at least my dad's 93 did, not too sure about my 88)

My replacement timing chain and gears for a 69 429 is a double roller.
