I have a 2001 Powerstroke Excursion. I wish to change the transmission fluid and I want to know does this torque converter have a drain plug? Any Information would be appreciated.
Your torque convertor should have a drain plug but it's possible that it doesn't. I've ran into a few lately without plugs
To check for a plug, remove the inspection cover on the bottom of the bellhousing, mark a spot on the convertor with felt pen or whatever so you know when you've gone a full revolution and turn the engine over by hand, using a long bar and socket on the front balancer bolt.
