F350 Lariat SB/SC PSD 5SPD, PWR Rear Window, Pwr Tow Mirrors, Adj Gas/Break, Roof Lights, Stabalizer Pkg, Trailer Pkg, 3.73 LTD Slip,B/S molding,
They're swaping the 12k hitch for the 15k, throwing in the hood blanket and glove light and giving me the AIC for cost...bottom line....
37,300.00 TTT...out the door. Wrote the check. Scratch wasn't as bad as it first looked...I rubbed it out with a piece of modeling sand paper and water....showed them a trick after they gave me bone and we did the deal. Gonna pick it up Mon as they're waxing it and swaping the hitch. I think I did ok...can't believe how much I'm shaking right now...don't know if its nerves or excitement.
I'm one of the boyz now!...Whoo...hoo!
Time to order the leveling kit...Tough Country or Rancho?...any ideas?
Looks like Rancho r/r the whole spring no track bar relocation....$435
Tough Country uses spring pack and track bar relocation bracket...$259
Hmmm......what to do?
I didn't get a rebate, a deal on the financing, or anything like that. But HEY! I got a brand new engine after 27,000km!
Sure it was built early last year and they have the injector problem fixed blah blah blah. but the fact remains I lost that truck for four weeks without a replacement and I paid good blasted money for something I was expecting to be reliable and at least last a year without problems. My livelyhood depends on it!
I didn't own it 3 days when I had to take it back in for an extremely rough idle, smoke, and stalling.
I took the oil filter in after it's first change (@ less than 5000km!) and showed them the metal chips in the filter. "Don't worry about it" they said. So I didn't. Whatta rube!
The only time I heard from them was when I put a stop-payment on my cheque for that month.
when I did mine I wanted new springs, didnt see the tough country, is that an 8 leaf spring if it is that is good price does that price include shocks.I took mine for alignment after leveling kit instll it was still perfect I didnt see need for relocation bracket.

you posted about the trans. brake 4and 5 gear do not work at all on my truck, no mater if you step on the brake twice or not it no longer works in 4th or 5th .
Choctaw is correct. Either the flash didn't take correctly or you have a bad sensor in the system. In either case i would take it in to the service department and have them fix it. The tow haul should work in 4th & 5th with a touch of the brakes, there is definitely a problem with yours.
