98 expedition no start

98 expedition no start
i am new to this sight and have done some searching with no luck, here is my problem. the 98 exp won't crank over. i can jump the solenoid on the firewall and it will start. the theft light comes on and goes off after a couple seconds, i have power to the red with blue stripe wire out of the ignition switch in the cranking position. i am losing juice after the switch but before the nuetral saftey switch any ideas? thanx
